The Age of Exploration DAO had been operating with a somewhat ambiguous organizational structure despite calling itself a “DAO.” In April 2026, we finalized this structure and officially launched our membership system.

⚓ 5-Tier Membership System Launched

We now have 5 tiers: L1 Mate (Experience) / L2 Crew (Ongoing Contribution) / L3 Navigator (Operations Participation) / L4 Duke & L5 Archduke (Core & Ultimate Responsibility).

We’ve designed a system with a low barrier to entry but high commitment for those who want it. Anyone can easily dip their toes in the water first, and those who want to continue can get deeply involved.

Our previous core crew and the new L3 Navigators have been restructured as equals working together to steer the ship.

We're completely rebuilding our DAO management app Juno Link as v2. Instead of showcasing complex "Web3-ness" upfront, we're aiming for an app that anyone can use with email or SNS login.
